Ericsson
2009 – 2023

Building one global brand across products, platforms and people.

For nearly 15 years, I was part of Ericsson's Global Brand Team, helping shape one of the world's most recognised technology brands.

Working alongside internal teams and external partners, I contributed to two major global rebrands and played a leading role in developing the Ericsson Design System—a unified design language connecting software, digital products, marketing, product interfaces and global communication.

The work was recognised with two Red Dot Awards in the categories Corporate Identity & Design and Interface & User Experience Design.

The Challenge

Ericsson is a global organisation with hundreds of digital products, interfaces and communication channels. Creating a consistent brand experience across teams, markets and technologies required much more than visual guidelines.

The challenge was to build a scalable design system that could simplify complex workflows, improve collaboration and ensure a consistent experience across every touchpoint.

The Solution

As part of the Global Brand Team, I helped define and evolve the Ericsson Design System, creating a shared visual language that connected brand and product into one coherent ecosystem.

The work extended beyond interface design. It included digital experiences, product communication, presentations, events, websites, marketing assets and tools used daily by teams around the world.

Alongside the design system, I also contributed to global rebranding initiatives and helped establish Ericsson's internal creative organisation, supporting teams across Europe and Asia.

Scaling Design Beyond the Design System

One of the most rewarding parts of my time at Ericsson was helping build the company's internal creative organisation.

Working closely with global stakeholders, I helped establish and grow Ericsson's in-house agency in India and Hungary—from the ground up. The work included defining creative processes, setting quality standards, mentoring designers and building scalable production workflows that enabled teams across multiple markets to deliver consistent, high-quality work.

It wasn't simply about increasing production capacity. It was about creating a creative culture where people, processes and design systems worked together to support one of the world's largest technology brands.
