Eways

Building a brand for the transition to electric mobility.

When Eways was founded, electric mobility was still in its early stages. The challenge wasn't only to build a business—it was to build trust in an entirely new way of travelling.

From the early days, I worked closely with the founders to help shape the company's visual identity and customer experience as the business grew from a startup into one of Sweden's leading independent charging operators.

The Challenge

Charging infrastructure is highly technical, but the customer experience shouldn't feel that way.

As electric vehicles became more common, Eways needed a brand that inspired confidence while making charging technology approachable for property owners, businesses and drivers alike.

The identity also had to scale with a rapidly growing organisation and support communication across physical locations, sales material and digital channels.

The Solution

Working as an extension of the Eways team, I helped develop the company's visual identity and customer-facing communication from the ground up.

The work included brand development, environmental graphics, retail and showroom design, marketing material and visual communication that connected technical expertise with a clear and approachable customer experience.

Every touchpoint was designed to strengthen trust while making a new technology feel familiar and easy to adopt.

As Eways expanded into one of Sweden's leading independent charging operators, the brand evolved alongside the business while maintaining a consistent visual identity across products, locations and communication. The company grew from a startup into a nationwide organisation with more than 25,000 charging points and over 130 employees.
