Stoneridge

Making complex technology easier to understand.

Stoneridge develops advanced electronics and intelligent systems for commercial vehicles, construction equipment and the global transport industry.

Over several years, I partnered with Stoneridge as an extension of their marketing and product teams, helping translate highly technical products into clear, engaging communication across digital, physical and interactive touchpoints.

The Challenge

Products such as digital instrument clusters, camera mirror systems and driver interfaces are packed with sophisticated technology—but the value needs to be immediately understood by customers, operators and decision-makers.

The challenge was to communicate precision, safety and innovation without overwhelming the audience with technical complexity.

The Solution

Working across branding, product communication and user experience, I helped create visual systems and communication that connected engineering with human understanding.

The work ranged from interface concepts and HMI design to films, exhibitions, product launches, presentations, websites and sales material. Every asset was built around the same principle: making advanced technology feel intuitive and approachable.

Rather than treating product design and marketing as separate disciplines, the goal was to create one consistent experience—from the product itself to the story surrounding it.

The collaboration helped strengthen Stoneridge's communication across multiple product areas and international markets, making complex transport technology easier to understand and easier to sell.

For me, the project became another example of a recurring theme throughout my career: helping engineering-driven companies transform complexity into clarity.
